Ways to Make Money Online
Can you make money online? Yes, you can! Whether you’re a teenager who would rather not flip burgers – or a person living on a fixed income who would really benefit by a low impact way to make a few extra dollars: I’m here to tell you it can be done.
For a couple of years now I have been earning some significant money with a site called Swagbucks. It’s very well known these days and it is most definitely a legitimate site.
I don’t spend hours and hours doing this each day. It takes next to no actual effort. However, I still make an average of about $75 a month. And you get income as gift cards from many different retailers such as Best Buy, Target, or JC Penney….. but there are many more than that.
Generally speaking, 500 “SwagBucks” will get you $5.00 worth of gift cards. Simple as that. I think you can cash out with as little as $3.00 (but only for an eBay gift card.)
Other people make much more per month on Swagbucks. This is partly because they are prepared to do things that I can’t or won’t due to my other obligations. For example, I can’t spend a lot of time, sign up for offers to be sent to their homes, etc. etc. But I do want to make money online even if it is only pin money. When I say low impact, I mean low impact. I will be quite blunt and say that I don’t want to be having to push buttons every thirty seconds.
Easiest Ways to Make it Work for You
First things first you will probably want to use a disposable email address with them. If you sign up for a lot of stuff you will get a lot of emails turning up. Most people don’t want to have those turning up in their usual email account. You can still earn a healthy amount, even if you don’t sign up for a ton of things that the Swagbucks advertisers would send you. Conversely, you can sign up for many newsletters, etc., and rack up a ton of Swagbucks pretty quickly.
I also use an old laptop to do Swagbucks. It no longer coped with Windows 10 and was just gathering dust. My husband stripped Windows and put Ubuntu on and now it works very well. I keep it set up near my desk and a few times during the day and evening I will set a task running. Swagbucks of course still works on Windows and Mac. You can use Chrome or Firefox or Edge – that’s up to you.
What Are the Best Ways of Earning Money Online with Swagbucks?
There are many, many ways to earn with Swagbucks but it really comes down to how much effort you want to make. I will be quite honest I don’t want to have to make a lot of effort because I’m simply too busy to sit there and baby it the way some people can. If you have more time on your hands than I do you can probably earn more than me.
Some people swear that signing up for all sorts of offers is the way to go. If you’ve set up a disposable email address as I mentioned then this may be an option for you. I prefer to do the following two main activities:
In the left hand sidebar, you will see a section called “Watch.” Click on that, and then when it opens up, go to the link that says “Encraves.” There are different, auto-running choices of Encrave. that you simply click on (or click through) and the points will add up.
On the Watch page, they will give you some points for watching videos and they say you can earn up to $5.00 a day doing those (plain) videos…but the facts are this is impossible. They just plain run too slow for that to be the case. This is not true of the Encraves, however.
Provided that you are truthful and consistent, filling out surveys is one of the more lucrative activities on the site. I cannot stress too much how important it is that you are honest and consistent with your “qualifications” for the survey. What I mean is (for example) if you earn $30,000 a year and that is what you put in for a survey but get rejected don’t be tempted to put in $40,000 next time. They do monitor your responses and if you lie you run the risk of having any Swagbucks earned taken away as well as being banned from doing other surveys.
Is Swagbucks Legitimate? Can You Really Make Money Online?
Yes, it is. Yes, you can. I have been using Swagbucks for over five years now and like many other people when I first started I too wondered if it was legitimate. Well, since then I have earned around 3,000 dollars in “pin money. ” Some people put a lot of time and effort into this and they have earned significantly more but this is a level of effort that works for me.
Why not see if it works for you? It’s free to sign up and then you can try it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
